DESCRIPTION
Venmo’s Instagram consists of a range of content from paid product promotion to illustrated brand posts that boost the “Venmo vibe” and tone of voice, and even interactive posts and stories that engage their following in fun ways. The goal of these posts is to center the brand in trends and financial culture and create relatability and trust with the audience in a way that feels genuine. I was one of 2 designers who shared the role of concepting, designing, and presenting the monthly content for their feed.



PROCESS
As a designer for the Venmo social media team I concepted, and designed posts on a monthly cadence after being briefed by our strategy and data science teams. Concepts were developed based on relevant trends and ways-in for the brand to connect with their Zillennial audience. A range of paid product posts, Illustrated content of “Venmo-isms,” and interactive Instagram story content was created for the client along with posts that required IRL art direction and production. I used the adobe suite and collaborated with motion designers as needed for digital posts and coordinated production and set dressing for IRL and merchandise assets that I art directed and shot/edited.
